How can I play a song in Itunes?

ok, so I have a song in .WAV format that I recorder with my audio player, anyway when I open the song in the Itunes it works but it sound very very bad like with cuts and a back noise pretty anoying I cant even hear the song, but it works pretty good when I open the song in the quicktime so the problem is in Itunes ! help please I need to put that song in the itunes!!!
