Why does TBS have 4 Pitchers on their Baseball Show?

I'd rather have a Catcher or an everyday position player doing a game or pregame, post-game ysis. This is why I like the MLB Network. You have players who were on the field everyday breaking down the games. Pitchers work every few days. Wells, Eck, Darling and Smoltz only know the game from one side. Ripken is not articulate enough for me. Wells, Eck, Darling and Smoltz were great Pitchers but I want position players calling the game in the booth, before and after wards. Mc Carver and Morgan get it and they do their games very well.
