Abnormal Blood Test For Down's Syndrome!?

when i was having my son i didn't even bother with the blood test, i told my partner that if they came back that there was a chance it could be born downs then all i woulds do was worry as there was no chance ov me having the amnio, i can understand your concern it is a fear every one has and with you already having a child with learning difficulties it must be extra worrying, but i think you are overreacting a little tho, i have worked with downs and they are the most loving caring people you could meet, they can live long healthy lives, they can be very Intelligent, i no one that goes to our local school and another that works at tesco, they don't often show signs ov challenging behavior, they just generally crave more attention, the statistics are very low and frankly the doctors just scare the crap out ov people, try not to worry about it, and personally i would scrap the scan and the amnio and just leave it be, and enjoy the child you have been blessed with, good luk xx
