How to take care of a Cilantro plant?

I bought a cilantro plant a few days ago and it promptly started to wilt. I have been watering it and keeping it in the sunniest spot in my home. It keeps only getting worse. The only sunnier place I can put it is outside. Am I doing something wrong? It was fine in the store.
