Putting down peel and stick vinyl flooring- can this be done in installments?

I am going to be pulling up my carpeting in a room and putting down peel and stick vinyl tile flooring. Problem is that I live alone and have heavy furniture to relocate- so easiest way is to move it all to one side, etc. Will there be any repercussions to putting down half the room one day, then the other half another?
