What should I do? what is wrong with him?

2 yrs ago I got an email from this guy from England asking me could we become penpals as he was thinking of coming to live in Ireland. We started writing to each other just as penpals until one email he said he was coming over for an interview could we meet up, so we did, I started asking him about the interview but he couldn’t really give me any answers. He sent an email the next day telling me he fancied me as more than a friend. He was also writing to someone else but she stopped cos he said she thought he was too weird. We started texting as well about 20+ times a day and one text he told me he loved me, I was kinda shocked but because he kept telling me he did I finally said it back to him. 2 months later I texted him as normal but he never texted back, I tried ringing but he never answered and my emails went unanswered. He finally texted back after a week and told me he was involved in a motorbike crash and couldn’t get to his phone, but then I started thinking how come his phone battery didn’t die during the week? Anyways we got back to normal texting and mailing but every so often he used to text me asking was I leading him on and he used to say that he was having ‘wobbles’ about us cos he missed me so much. He also used to change his cell phone number s al lot one day he’d text me ‘I love you ‘ then I’d try and ring back and his phone would be off and his email would be gone as well, then a few weeks later he’d email from a different account or text me from a different number. During the 2 years we were in contact he has had 9 different cell phone numbers and 6 different email accounts. Every few months he’d stop all contact me me and his reason would be that ‘he was married and he was afraid I’d think bad of him’ he was having a wobble’ ‘he can’t handle the distance’ One day he texted ‘I knever knew you were on facebook xxx’ and then nothing for 2 months until he texted me from an irish number asking me to meet him, I did for a few hrs even though he said he had been over in Dublin for the whole previous week. We continused ringing and texting as normal and then 2 weeks later he turned off his irish phone but yet his English mobile phone was still working, and his email addresses kept changing one day they’d work the next another one would instead. 2 months later he emailed me saying ‘it’s not you it’s never you’ I decided to go over to him for the weekend and we had a good weekend together he treated me so well , although his parents weren’t there and his house looked very clean. That was only the 3rd time we’d seen each other in 2 years. Also he kept saying over the years he was coming over at such a time but he never did always coming up with some excuse. After I came home from England he started working nights 8pm-7am and so he’d text me just before he lfet for work, again at 2am saying he was thinking off me and again when he came home saying he’d ring me at 3pm when he woke up which he always did. He wasnted to move here so Iused to send him emails of apartments for sale or rent but he’d never look at them, which I thought odd. I was meant to go over to him again on 3rd Sep and I waas so excited but on the 19th August my brother was diagnosed with Cancer, He rang me at 3pm and Itold him and he promised to ring at 4pm and 4.30 I ring him and he said he hd fallen asleep and he had to get ready for work. I riang at 6 and said I just needed him to tell me he loved me and he was there for me cos I was scared and all alone in the house, but all he said was he had to get ready for work but he loved me. He texted me at 8pm and told me to keep my chin up and he’d text me later, on the frieday at about 7am there were no texts from him so I texted him at 7.30 askign was he ok, and he texted back ‘I’m home have a nice day’ which I though was such a bad thing to text. I tried to ring him and his phone was off and now his email accout are shut down as well. What is wrong with im?
