What to expect with hired movers?

My boyfriend is being relocated and the company is paying a moving company to ship our house. What should I expect? Will they wrap up all my little things or should I? Should I try to consolidate some things to make it easier for them? We live in a 2 room apt so there isnt very much to pack but I just have no idea where to start.
